The new Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees are settling into life among rock royalty now, after a blowout celebration last weekend.
While all three of the inductees boast consistently solid fanbases, there’s only one winner when they’re all stacked up side-by-side…
Red Hot Chili Peppers have as many weekly fans as Gun ‘n’ Roses and Beastie Boys combined, and even saw a rise in listeners related to the Hall of Fame coverage last week.
Beastie Boys might be bottom of the pack, but perennial favorites like “Sabotage” and “Intergalactic” still pull in thousands of listeners every week. The same goes for Guns N’ Roses, whose epic “Sweet Child O’ Mine” regularly pulls in more than ten thousand listeners.
But the top track is also taken by the Chili Peppers. “Californication” accounts for 7,663,631 plays from Last.fm listeners, a huge amount of love for a track now almost twelve years old.
